Baker's Dozen Desserts -

                   the Pre-heating Stage

     I've enjoyed cooking for most of my life.  I began making pancakes when I was a kid, and now I enjoy baking desserts most, and chocolate always! 

     I began baking for my immediate family (my personal Guinea pigs!), and later for larger family gatherings and church socials.  Along the way, I have gained a few friends with sugary bribes, and given them gifts of homemade treats for birthdays and holidays.

     Baker's Dozen Desserts stemmed from the desire to turn my baking hobby into something a little more permanent.  With a nudge from my best friend, and a "foot in the door" from another, Baker's Dozen Desserts was born.
